B6 "Being" a Facilitator
Level: All Levels

We all know a good facilitator when we see one, but what is it that draws us to them time and again and how can that information be used to improve our own facilitation practice? In this one-day workshop participants will, learn about eight defining facilitator behaviors and the associated underlying beliefs, learn specific techniques to bring these behaviors out and, reinforce those behaviors by practicing in small and large groups. This workshop is designed for anyone interested in “being” the best facilitator possible. (Note: the concepts in this course are derived from David Spann’s research into the expectations of a Professional Facilitator.)

Presenter:

David Spann is a Senior Management Consultant located in Park City, Utah. He focuses on developing facilitative leaders, their teams and agile organizational change. Mr. Spann is also the US Representative to the IAF-World Board, an IAF Certified Professional Facilitator and a CPF Assessor.
