E10 Process Consulting in Health: Diversity Lives Here!
Level: All Levels

Diversity is alive and well in health-related process consulting at local, regional, national and international levels. It has evolved at the same pace as health care system change—at a full gallop! This session is for participants who want to mine their reflections on consulting in this sector through hindsight, foresight, and insight. The presenter and participants will use these sights to capture what they know for sure through their engagement in this exciting field. The session takeaway is a booklet of practical tools and a record of outstanding practices for the health sector.

Presenter:

Dorothy Strachan (Strachan-Tomlinson) has been a process consultant since 1974. Her practice focuses on issues identification and resolution, strategic planning, team development, and customized workshops and training programs on process design and facilitation. Dorothy works in all sectors and particularly enjoys national and international process consulting in health. She is a prolific writer and presenter. The complimentary book being launched at this session, “Making Process Designs Work”, is the second in a three-book series with Jossey-Bass/Wiley. Dorothy’s previous sessions at IAF have been described as “eminently practical, excellent value, great role modeling, focused and yet flexible”. www.strachan-tomlinson.com.
