IAFNA Conference Week 2009 Overview
Vancouver's conference Week 2009 opened on Monday, April 20 with the first of a series of intensive One- and Two-Day Training Workshops. These continued on Tuesday, April 21. Later that afternoon, we begin the Short Workshop and Plenary portion of Conference Week with our Opening Networking Reception and Celebration, featuring internationally-recognized psychologist Dr. Brian Little.
On Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23, our Short Workshops and Plenary sessions enable delegates to learn more specific tools and techniques of facilitation, to meet each other around meals and receptions, and to sample the information and products of our conference sponsors, exhibitors, and bookstore.
The conference itself concludes in the early evening of April 23 with our Closing Celebration and hand-over to the 2010 Conference Team.
On April 24 – 25, almost 50 candidates will be seeking to achieve their “IAF Certified™ Professional Facilitator” designation during the Certification Event that brings Conference Week 2009 to an end.
